Meet the Director

I began my journey as a clinician in 2014 after I graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology, from the University of Newcastle.

During my career I have supported people across different age groups including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly, in a variety of settings such as, in the community, private practice, residential and non-residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and supporting children and young people living in out of home care.

My experience extends to working with a diverse range of mental health conditions, this includes:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

  • Intellectual Disabilities

  • Depression

  • Bipolar Disorder

  • Anxiety, Panic Attacks, and Phobias

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

  • Complex Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

  • Eating Disorders

  • Substance Use and Addiction

  • Personality Disorders

  • Schizophrenia

  • Sleep-Wake Disorders

Some examples of problems that I come across in my daily practice that people seek assistance for include, managing emotions, behavioural challenges, low mood, anxiety, social and communication problems, relationship problems, low self-esteem and confidence, domestic violence, suicidal ideation, and self -harm.

Throughout the years of practicing as a clinician I understand that each problem a person brings has its own array of variables and complexities. This is why I find working from a person-centred approach so important. I am passionate about embracing and celebrating the unique factors of each person, and empowering the person to recognise their potential, build resilience, and to help people achieve their goals and improve their overall health and wellbeing.
